Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi (D)

Welcome to Hanoi – the capital of Vietnam with a rich history and rich cuisine. Your guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and drop you off at your hotel downtown. In the afternoon, take an orientation tour to highlight Hanoi’s main attractions such as the Opera House, Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. And join us for a welcome dinner with a famous dish in Hanoi, Bun Cha.

Day 2: City Tour  In Hanoi ( B/L)

Today we will explore the charming capital with the following schedule for you:

8.00- 8.30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish Island in West Lake

It is the oldest pagoda in Ha Noi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Godess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world

  • Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…
  • Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.
  • Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintaining but still can take picture Mausoleum and visit around that area

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam

Special Note : we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine

with 8 delicious dishes.

14.00-14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton

16.15 -16.30:  Back to hotel

Day 3: Hanoi – Ninh Binh 1 Day Mua Cave- Tam Coc (B/L)

8h00 – 8h45: Pick up at your hotel then depart to Ninh Binh on the way you can see the picture of rural in VietNam with fertilizer green fields, buffalos are eating grass, ducks are swimming…

10h45: arrive at Hoa Lu Temple – the first capital of Vietnam was buit from 10 century. You will spend few minutes for overview.

 11h00: Arrive Mua cave which is constructed following the model of “miniature Great Wall” in China with nearly 500 steps up to mountains to conquer. You will spend abound one hour to do hard trekking up to the top of the mountain for overview the impressive panoramic view of Tam Coc, Trang An & Ninh Binh city

12h30: Get on bus to Tam Coc, then have lunch with special Vietnamese foods.

13h30: Get on small boat for visiting Tam Coc about two hours and haft. The local people will take you to discover beauty of landscape where is called ”Ha Long Bay On Land” and sightseeing two green rice fields with great lime stones and wonderful caves. Finish visitting by small boat you have about 30 minutes for biking to visit countryside or shopping at  some embroidery shop where they sell handcraft goods.

16h30: Get on bus to come back Ha Noi, Arrive Ha Noi at 19h00 bus take you back your hotel.

Day 4: Ha Long Bay- Lan Ha Bay (B/L/D)

7:45 – 8:15: Get picked up from your hotel  after your breakfast

8:15 ~ 11:30: Follow the newest highway connecting Hanoi and Hai Phong.

Upon arrival at Station number 17 – OVERNIGHT CRUISE PORT, Tuan Chau Maria, Ha Long passengers will be welcomed by receptionist at La Casta’s waiting lounge.

11:30 – 12:00: After taking a rest, our high speed tender will transfer you to the main boat (Around 25 minutes).

Get onboard and warmly welcome from La Casta crew team with welcome drink.

After that, you will be given a short briefing about La Casta Cruise and safety guideline at our restaurant.

Complete the check-in procedure and check-into our suite cabins.

13:00: Enjoy a lunch in the restaurant. La Casta Cruise start to depart for the voyage to discover the Lan Ha Bay.

15:45: Visit the Ba Trai Dao area and the natural lagoon of Lan Ha Bay – this area includes the beach breaths a romantic atmosphere and three smaller islets like three giant peaches on the sea. You can join with our activities such as: kayaking, swimming, sightseeing and explore the Ba Trai Dao area.

(In unfavorable weather conditions, to ensure the safety of our guest, this destination would be change into Dark and Bright cave- famous for the pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. You can join with our activities such as: kayaking, sightseeing on the   bamboo boat, … – This is the best time for you to enjoy bamboo boats or swimming which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the stunning limestone structure and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay).

17:30 – 18:30: Come back to our La Casta cruise and enjoy the pre-dinner sunset party with Happy Hour Promotion (buy 1 get 1 free with some kinds of drinks) at the bar while watching the view of the bay at sunset.

18:00: Join a cooking demonstration, our chef will guide you how to make some simple signature Vietnamese dishes.

19:30: Enjoy special seafood and typical Vietnamese food on the cruise.
21:00: Evening entertainment: Squid fishing, karaoke… Overnight on the La Casta Cruise.

DAY 5 : Lan Ha Bay- Ha Noi (B/L)

6:15: Wake up early, join the Tai Chi session on sundeck area, enjoy the fresh atmosphere and watch the sunrise in Lan Ha Bay.

7:00 – 7:45: Have breakfast. Admit morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee.

08:00:
● Stroke the stunning views of the Bay and it’s dramatic limestone islets

  • Visit the famous Tra Bau, it’s time for freely kayak and explore the landscape, or swim…

09:00: Back to your cabin, relax and check carefully all the luggage before leaving your cabin.
09:30: Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay for room service. Complete check out procedure and enjoy your brunch at La Casta cruise.

10:30: Enjoy the brunch at restaurant.

11:30: Disembark at Tuan Chau harbor, we hope you have enjoyed your time with us and wish you a safe onward journey.

Day 6: Hanoi – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van village  (B/L/D)

6.30 : Pick up from Bus Station get on sleeping bus and depart for Sapa Town.

9.30: Follow the highway to Lao Cai city with the first comfort break

11.00: Second comfort break at Lao Cai city before approaching Sapa

13.00: Arrive Sapa Town with colourful traditional costumes of H’Mong, Dzao, Tay ethnic People.

– Welcome drink and itinerary briefing

– Enjoy the lunch with local Vietnamese dishes

14.15: A short drive to Y Linh Ho then trek through the rice terraces and along Muong Hoa Stream to the Black Hmong village of Lao Chai to see the spectacular landscape of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. You approach Ta Van village where Dzao Ethnic People inhabits in late afternoon.

  • Trekking distance is about 9 kms and it lasts for 3.5 hours

17.45: Check in homestay; get to know the family of Dzao People. Spend time to enjoy the mountain life on Sunset. You may attend cooking local dishes with the family and enjoy dinner in peace.

In the evening, you can join the local bar nearby with music and socialize with other tourists then overnight at homestay.

Day 7: Medium trek Ta Van – Giang Ta Chai village (B, L, D):

8.00: Have breakfast prepared by the family and start a new day with more interesting trek.

8.45: Keep walking to the rice paddies where you have a nice photo session of the amazing surrounding landscapes; a trek through the bamboo forest; stop to have a panorama view of Giang Ta Chai village – home of red Dzao People.

11.00: Trek through the Giang Ta Chai Bridge to main road, bus picks you up to come back Sapa Town.

  • Trekking distance is about 4 kms and it lasts for 2 hours

12.00 – 14.00: Welcome drink at hotel, have lunch with delicious Vietnamese dishes and check in procedures

14.30: A short walk to the gate of Cat Cat village which is home of Black H’mong ethnic people and is located near the bottom of a deep valley at the foot of Fansipan Peak. Our local guide will show you the daily life activities of the locals, trek down to the valley bottom to the waterfall where the French built a Hydraulic Power Station, stop for photo with bridge and waterfall then you will walk uphill for bus to pick up to get back to Sapa in the afternoon.

16.30: Come back to Sapa Town. Have dinner and overnight in hotel with night activities.

Day 8: Sapa transfer to Ha Noi and Tour finishes (B, L):

7.30 – 12.00: Have breakfast at hotel and free times to discover Sapa town by yourself.

12.00 – 13.00: Have a shower at hotel, have lunch, time at leisure on your own.

13.30: Meet all group members at hotel to get ready for Hanoi.

14.00: Get on bus to go back to Hanoi with two comfort breaks.

20.30 – 21.00: We say goodbye to you at bus stop. 

Day 9: Hanoi – Hue – City Tour (B/L)

Having breakfast and checking out your hotel in early morning for the flight to Hue.
On your arrival in Hue – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, check in your hotel for relaxing. Spend the rest of the day for visit :

Hue Imperial Citadel: We start with a visit to Imperial Citadel (1804 – 1833). It’s within these 21 metre-thick, 6.6 metre-high and 10 kilometre-long walls that you’ll find several of the best and most famous sites of Hue City, from the many Ornate Temples, Nine Holy Cannons, Flag Tower, Supreme Harmony Palace, Dynastic Temple, Nine dynastic Urns… to the Forbidden Purple City. Most of the buildings were seriously destroyed by bombs during the French War and Amerian War, and nowaday they are under restoration.

Thien Mu Pagoda: We then pay a visit to the most well-known and also oldest Thien Mu Pagoda, a beautiful temple complex that is located on a hill overlooking to The Famous Perfume River built in 1601 by the first founder of the Nguyen Family in Central Vietnam – Nguyen Hoang.

Dragon Boat Tour on Perfume River: After admiring its seven tiers, we will enjoy romantic dragon boat cruise on Perfume River back to Hue City and our Fantastic Hue Half Day City Tour will be finished.

Day 10: Hue City Tour – Danang – Hoian (B/L)


After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up for a tour to visit tombs:

Minh Mang Tomb (1840 – 1843): Started by Minh Mang, but died during the construction and later finished by his son – King Thieu Tri (1840 – 1847). Tomb’s area is 15 hecta for King, Queen,… with 26 buildings for different funtions. This was also living area for his minor wives an cuncubines (who had no children for him) after his death.

Tu Duc Tomb (1864 – 1867): Built by King Tu Duc (1847 – 1883) for himself from 1864 – 1867. This was also place where King Tu Duc sometimes lived and worked when he was still alive. Tomb’s area is about 12 Hecta including 2 seperated areas: Temple area and Burial area.

Khai Dinh Tomb (1920 – 1931): The only Royal Tomb with Blended Styles of Orient and European. Tomb’s Area is 48.5m X 117m, and this is only Tomb of the Nguyen Kings built with different style and tomb we know King was buried underneath of his tomb.

Then, drive southward to Hoi An over the 500m high Hai Van pass. Enjoy a stop at the scenic Lang Co Beach, Marble Mountain, Cham Museum before continuing to Hoian.

Day 11: Hoian City Tour   (B/)

From the 16th to 18th centuries Hoian was a thriving international port frequented by Chinese, Dutch, French, Japanese, Portuguese and Arab traders, who came to trade in the high quality silk still produced in the region. Today, Hoian is a relaxing resort popular with tourists for its eclectic architecture, skilled tailors and numerous cafes. Take a half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the ancient quarter, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, the Chinese Assembly Hall, the 200-year-old Tan Ky ancestral house and the famous Japanese Bridge. In the afternoon, enjoy free time to shop, exploring the town or relaxing on the beach.

Day 12: Hoian Eco tour: Farming & fishing life tour (B/L)

Departure time: Around 8.00 AM.
The Hoi An eco-tour provides you with a close-up and intimate exposure to both the local farming and fishing communities. Accompanied by your tour guide, you commence the day leisurely cycling along country roads witnessing local Vietnamese rural life first hand, discovering all manner of photo opportunities – coming and visiting a beautiful organic vegetable village, watering and planting vegetable, hoeing a soil with local farmer, riding a water buffalo in a rice paddy field; seeing ducks swimming along the rice farm or farmers tending their crops. The photo opportunities are endless. As well you will experience the friendliness of the local people greeting you along the way. Later you will board on a local boat for a river cruise to meet and engage with local fishermen and enjoy a hands-on experience of traditional net fishing. You will also experience paddling the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boat while the waterways of coconut palm paradise. This tour provides you with a cultural window into the ways of life of both our farming and fishing communities.

Day 13: Hoian – Danang – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel and free for relaxing until your driver comes to pick you up for a transfer to Danang Airport to catch your flight to Saigon, the Vietnam’s modern metropolis.
Upon your arrival, check in your hotel. The rest of the day will be free on your own way.

Day 14: Hochiminh City & Cu Chi Tunnel  (B/L)

Take the morning trip to visits:

Independence Palace – also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu.

Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral

The historic Central Post Office.

Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars.

Have lunch at local restaurant.

Depart for Cu Chi tunnel – the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.

DAY 15: Ho Chi Minh- Ben Tre- Can Tho (B/L/D)
Mekong delta tour 1

8h-8h30 in the morning: Pick up at your hotel ( in center) going to Ben Tre province. On the way heading to Ben Tre, the sceneries are slowly switch from the busy city to peaceful sceneries. The first stop is Vinh Trang pagoda, a Buddhist temple near My Tho in the Mekong delta region of Southern Vietnam, one of the best- known temples in the region with the front of the temple is designed in a style that mixes European and Asian architecture.

Leave Vinh Trang continue the trip on the air-conditionaled bus to My Tho, the landscape of coconut trees, board the motoboat at a pier and cruise on the Mekong river, feel relax to enjoin the cool air and take look the 4 islands : Dragon, Phoenix, Unicon and Turtle island. Reaching the first stop after the motoboat trip, it’s the Bee Farm in which you have chance to see how the locals collect honey. With others taste honey tea and some tropical fruits depend on season ( included). The next, we invite you to listen Vietnam traditional music, the songs written base on their daily life.

The trip is continuing, you go under the shades of trees, get on rowwling boat – the almost locals’s main transportation going among villages on river, pass through natural creeks. When you feel enough for the serenity, we will take you to a village where you can smell the flavor of coconut candies being made mamy miles away To satisfied your cutiosity, the locals will introduce then show you the proceed of making candies from coconut since collecting ingredients to finishing with samples come out. Besides, it’s interesting making rice papers showed up as well while the curiosity is still lasting.

Take horse-car going around the village to restaurant for lunch. Afterward, relax and enjoin the laze in a hammock.

Back on the water, continue by bus to Can Tho.. Here, will be 2 options for accomodation:

Stay in guess house/hotel ( included, the hotel level coule be changed as personal requested )

Stay in homestay: Cooking and having dinner with locals ( dinner included as option)

DAY 16 : Floating Market- Ho Chi Minh (B/L)Mekong Delta tour 57

07:00-07:30 am – Pick up at your hotel /homestay going to Cai Rang floating market, it is said that “not being in Cai Rang floating market means not knowing the land of Tay Do – an old name of Can Tho”, one of the famous floating markets of the Southwest, specializes in selling fruits and agricultural products of the whole region.

Every early morning, hundred boats gather together where their owners start to sell agri – products. To be recognized easily, they hang out product samples on a long bamboo (called Cay Beo) in front of the boats, so that they do not need to cry their wares as in mainland market. You will have chance to enjoin the cool air on the river, melt yourself  in the air of local’s trading .

When you feel enough for the bustling, we will take you to a village where locals make rice noodle . To satisfied your cutiosity, the locals will introduce then show you the proceed of making it from collecting ingredients to finishing with samples come out.

After all, rest for a while before going back to Saigon time about 17:00 pm.
